Shaniwar Wada, located in Pune, Maharashtra, India, is a historic fortification that was built in 1732 by the Peshwa Baji Rao I, the prime minister of the Maratha Empire. Raghunathrao’s wife, Anandibai, is believed to have orchestrated Narayanrao’s murder by sending a group of assassins to kill him.

According to legend, Narayanrao was just 13 years old at the time of his murder, and his cries for help are said to still echo through the halls of Shaniwar Wada at night. Visitors to the fort have reported hearing the sound of a young boy crying out for his mother, as well as other unexplained noises and voices.

Another famous ghost story associated with Shaniwar Wada is the story of a dancing ghost that is said to haunt the fort. According to legend, the ghost is that of a young woman who was a dancer in the Peshwa’s court. She was allegedly brutally raped and murdered within the fort walls, and her spirit is said to still roam the halls, dancing and wailing in agony.

In addition to these stories, there have been numerous reports of other paranormal occurrences at Shaniwar Wada, including sightings of ghostly apparitions, unexplained shadows, and feelings of unease and dread. Some visitors have even claimed to have been physically touched or pushed by unseen forces while exploring the fort.
